Delivery and Installation


Housewarmings Online offers three shipping methods for our products. Free Factory Pickup, Factory Delivery & Installation, and Free Shipping(For Mantels Only).

Our products are priced based on pick up at our factory located at 454 Fairman Dr., Lexington KY 40511 M-F between 8:00 and 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Please note that if you elect the pickup option, you should schedule in advance with your factory Design Consultant to ensure that your product is pre-staged for pickup at our loading docks.

Housewarmings Online Factory Delivery and Install is available for most addresses in Kentucky within a 150-mile radius of our Lexington KY Factory. Additionally, these options are available in certain areas of Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, Virginia, and West Virginia.

For Products other than mantels, If you live outside a 150 mile radius of our factory, shipping will be handled by the customer. Call a freight company for a quote.

Please note that for Factory Delivery & Installation extra information is required from the customer. If the customer cannot provide this information we will have to issue a refund.

Our factory can deliver and install product ordered within a 150 mile radius of Lexington, Kentucky.

Factory delivery and setup options include the following services:

  • Deliver to customers with our factory-owned equipment

  • Unload products from the truck

  • Move products to the assembly area

  • Unpack crates and assemble the products

  • Assemble product excluding electrical and Gas hook up if required.

  • Provide copies of owner manuals and warranties

  • Remove all packing and shipping materials

Factory Delivery and Installation Guidelines:

    • Site must have 4” concrete slab or concrete footers at all post locations for the Pergola to be installed on. This must be installed prior to our arrival.

    • There must be no steps, stairs, or obstacles on the terrain.

    • The delivery and installation location must be easily accessible

    • The access must be clear of any overhead obstructions.

    • The customer must be present to sign for the delivery and set up.

    • Off-loading locations must be fairly flat with no excessive inclines.

    • The access to the installation location will not have excessive inclines.

    • The access to the desired installation location must be unencumbered.

    • The selected installation location should be fairly level and the floor must be able to support the weight of the product.

    • There must be no steps, stairs, or obstacles on the terrain.

    • The delivery and installation location must be easily accessible via a 2-wheel drive delivery van or box truck.

    • The access must be clear of any overhead obstructions.

    • The customer must be present to sign for the delivery and set up.

    • Off-loading locations must be fairly flat with no excessive inclines.

    • The route to the installation location will not have excessive inclines.

    • The access to the desired installation location must be unencumbered and have at least 4-foot-wide clearance.

    • The selected installation location should be fairly level and the floor must be able to support the weight of the product. The exact weight will depend on the product and finish you select but typically grill islands weigh from 800 to 1500 lbs.

    • All of our kitchen islands come with a fully wired electrical outlet to power your grill island. Each unit will come with an 18-inch electrical pigtail terminated with a 3-prong connector. This will allow you to run an extension cord to your island. Should you decide that you would like your unit hardwired the electrical connector can be removed and your electrician can make the connection. This is the customer’s responsibility.

    • For Natural Gas Grills, the grill head will be plumbed internally but the final gas connection should be made by a qualified local plumber who is familiar with all applicable local codes. This is the customer's responsibility.

    • For Propane units, the customer should have a new fully charged Propane tank available for installation and testing.

    • All terrain must be forklift accessible.

    • Site must allow for all terrain forklift delivery (Residential area access).

    • There must be no steps, stairs, or obstacles on the terrain.

    • The delivery and installation location must be easily accessible.

    • The route must be clear of any overhead obstructions.

    • The customer must be present to sign for the delivery and set up.

    • Off-loading locations must be fairly flat with no excessive inclines.

    • The route to the installation location will not have excessive inclines.

    • The installation location must be free from any sprinklers, underground utilities, septic tanks, etc.

    • The route to the desired installation location must be unencumbered and have at least 5-foot-wide clearance.

    • The selected installation location should be fairly level, and the fireplace must sit on a solid surface that meets local code for fireplace weight.

    • Must be solid flat surface for Firepit to rest on.

    • The access must be clear of any overhead obstructions.

    • The customer must be present to sign for the delivery and set up.

    • Off-loading locations must be fairly flat with no excessive inclines.

    • The route to the installation location will not have excessive inclines.

    • The access to the desired installation location must be unencumbered and have at least 3-foot-wide clearance including any gates or railings.

    • The selected installation location should be fairly level and the floor must be able to support the weight of the product.

Order Process:

  • After you have made your product and delivery selections and submitted your order you will receive a call from our factory coordinator within two business days. The coordinator will review your order selections and answer any questions. If you have selected factory delivery they will also ask and number of questions and may request photos to ensure that our technicians can successfully deliver and set up your unit.

  • Once your order is complete and ready to be scheduled for shipment or delivery you will receive a call from the coordinator to schedule a date and time for the product to be shipped or delivered. Please note that we do our best to schedule based on the latest weather forecast but delivery dates can change based on unforeseen weather events. In these cases, the factory coordinator will contact you ASAP.
